TALK SESSION ON CYBER SECURITY AND ETHICAL HACKING

IEEE CS SBC CETKR and CS-IT ASSOCIATION CETKR hosted a talk session on "Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking" on 17th May 2023. It was handled by Mr.Midhun B.M, Associate Consultant, EY company. It was a 3 hr with about 50 participants from various departments which was hosted over an online platform. The overall session proved to be highly informative and motivating for students and provided insight and knowledge on how to protect ourselves from cyber attackers. The conclusion ceremony had a doubt clearance session at the end and the talk was wrapped up after feedback

INAUGURAL CEREMONY- IEEE CS SBC CEKtr

IEEE SB CETkr on 22nd October 2021 inaugurated our new Student Branch Chapter Computer Society. Inaugural ceremony began 10:00 am IST with the Code of Ethics delivered by Chaithra CM – the Secretary of IEEE SB CETkr. It was followed by Welcome Address by Prof. Naveena A K – the Branch Counselor and Chapter Adviser- IEEE SB CETkr, Presidential Address by Dr. Vinod Pottakulath – Principal of College of Engineering Trikaripur. The Inaugural Address was delivered by honorable Nita Patel Director, IEEE Foundation and 2022 President- Elect, Computer Society who provided us with insight into the core of CS and guidance to lead the SBC in the right track. We were indeed much delighted with her presence. Guest of Honor for the session was Dr. Deepthi Sasidharan Secretary- IEEE CS Kerala Chapter. She gave us insight upon major activities and Membership Development and further shared about her journey. Felicitation was given by Bhadra Jaykumar Student Representative, IEEE CS Kerala Chapter. The annual plan was presented by Meghna K, the Chairperson of IEEE CS SBC CETkr. The CS Executive Members wew officially declared by Nita Patel and finally ended with Vote of Thanks by Vaishakh P Nambiar, Chairperson- IEEE SB CETkr.
